Principal's Blog: 3/15/24

Impactful:

This week, I would like to encourage you to take a look at one of George Couros’ blog posts HERE. In this post from a couple years ago, George begs the question, “Permanent Failure or Temporary Learning?” as the blog post’s title. To sum it up, failure, as we experience it, can certainly be either permanent or temporary. After all, if we quit something after not finding success, it could be considered a permanent failure. However, in education, we oftentimes will use the term failure as a descriptive word when describing the journey of learning. The gist of what George is sharing with us in his text is that our focus within the experience of failing should always be learning! Whether it was a permanent failure, or something that we failed at many times over, and then finally found success in, we must always take what we can from the experience and LEARN.
