Grade 5 - Elementary
The unique 5th grade program is a single-grade campus in a comfortable setting where students establish a strong foundation in essential academic subjects, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Courses are designed and taught to build knowledge progressively, ensuring students are well-prepared for future rigorous academic challenges. A homeroom structure with the Foundations for Success course supports each learner to be fully prepared for middle school.

Middle School
Spectrum Middle School serves students in grades 6 through 8 and builds upon the strong foundation established in 5th grade. Sixth graders are housed in their own dedicated wing of the activity center, creating a supportive environment that fosters the confidence, independence, and skills needed to thrive during these transitional years. Seventh and eighth graders continue this progression by deepening their academic knowledge and skills while supporting their social and emotional growth, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities of high school. Spectrum Middle School students also have the opportunity to try out for and participate in high school competitive athletics and performing arts programs.

High School
Spectrum High School is a welcoming college preparatory program where students have access to college courses through our College @ Spectrum High School (C@SH) program - allowing them to earn (up to) their AA degree while remaining on the high school campus. Courses integrate technology through our one-to-one Chromebook program and students develop character through opportunities to serve the community. Spectrum High School is a member of the Minnesota State High School League and offers an abundance of competitive athletic and performing arts opportunities. Our students are able to fully enjoy their high school experience while earning college credits!
