Principal's Blog: 5/21/21

Spectrum Families,

Please accept a heartfelt thank you for your incredible support and understanding throughout this unique year.  The challenges we’ve faced have been extraordinary in nature.  Putting it into perspective, what we’ve gone through has never been done before quite the way we did it, and if we had to do it again, we’d certainly make some changes to our approach.  However, I feel it's worth mentioning that through it all, we stuck together and persevered!

I want to congratulate our seniors and their families in this final blog of the 2020-21 school year.  Your accomplishments are vast, and your resolve throughout your final year of high school has certainly been on display.  Be proud of yourself and your classmates as you enter a new chapter in your life.  Always know that Spectrum is a home for each of you and here for you if you ever need anything.

Finally, I want to encourage our students to put the screens down throughout this summer.  We’ve all had enough screen time this year to last us a lifetime.  Get outside and enjoy the world around you.  Take time to visit with your family and friends.  Recharge yourself and prepare for whatever is ahead of you.

Thank you, Spectrum Families!  Have a great summer!
