Principal's Blog: 2/5/21

Greetings Spectrum High School Families,

Second semester is off to a great start here at Spectrum High School. Last week's Snow Daze celebration was a huge success thanks in part to our amazing Student Council and the Advisors, Ms.Johnson and Ms. Beehler!

As February marches on, we are busy at SHS preparing for registration season for the 2021-22 school year.  Prior to registration it is vital for students to gain a clear understanding of graduation requirements and available courses for the upcoming year.  Spectrum provides some helpful tools that can aid in your and your student’s awareness of requirements, as well as decisions on courses to enroll in for next year.  In the coming weeks our updated course catalog will also be available online for your perusal, which will be communicated via email from our counseling department.  Please don’t forget that Mr. Mayes and Ms. Scott, our school counselors, are always willing and able to help you or your student(s) understand graduation requirements or answer questions you might have about registration.  Registration is scheduled to take place during the first week of March.

If you’d like to get a head start on browsing through what classes may be available for next year, feel free to visit our website or click this LINK to access our current course catalog. ***Please note that minor updates will occur in the coming weeks leading up to registration.
