Principal's Blog: 2/7/20-2/21/20

Greetings,

Second semester is off to a great start here at Spectrum High School. Last week’s Winter Fest was a huge success thanks in part to our amazing Student Council and
Photo of Principal Leland the Advisors, Mrs. Chrest and Ms. Beehler!  We also had a visitor last Thursday during Sting Time, Ms. Brook Bosacker, from the American Heart Association, who shared with us some of the health impacts of vaping. This was a kickoff event to our larger Red Out event coming up the week of February 18th - February 21st.  On Tuesday, February 18th at the boys’ varsity basketball game, the event will come to a head with contests, prizes, and the opportunity to donate to the American Heart Association’s life-saving mission (help prevent, treat, and defeat heart disease). We are thankful for the opportunity to learn a bit from our visitor as well as excited to help the American Heart Association raise funds during Red Out week.
