Spectrum to host Grand March - May 8, 2021

Due to COVID restrictions, based on the Governor's executive order, Spectrum will not be organizing, hosting, or involved in a traditional prom dinner and dance. On the other hand, the school has been informed that there is a group of parents working to plan an event after the Grand March. As they navigate the various restrictions and requirements with private venues, it is the school's understanding that they will be communicating directly with students and families - including costs associated with the event.

Spectrum High School will only be hosting a socially distanced Junior / Senior Grand March in the high school gym on Saturday, May 8th.  We will stream the event online, and hope to host some spectators as well. Please stay tuned for more information on this.  You can contact Laura Johnson, Prom Coordinator, with any questions:  lajohnson@spectrumhighschool.org. Additionally, +1 dates/outside guests will be permitted.  Please click HERE to access the permission slip, which must be completed and submitted to Mr. Skog (SHS Dean of Students) for final approval.

Spectrum has also been informed that the outside group organizing the event has a Facebook group set up @ Spectrum Parent Prom 2021. While the school is unable to organize, host, or be involved in any way, the following people have asked that the school forward this specific email address if parents want to join in the planning or have questions: Melissa Guse, Julie Algaard, and Wendy Schlueter can be reached at shspromcommittee2021@gmail.com.
