SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL 

  • National Honor Society is excited to have the opportunity to partner with our local community in an effort to raise art supplies needed for a school in Kenya. From February 9th through February 20th please bring in new or gently used art supplies and drop them of in the CCC. There are flyers around the school with more information and if you have any questions please see Mr. Hyde.

  • High School Registration will begin Today during Advisory. Please bring your Chromebook to advisory and watch the video today to learn how to register for your courses. You will have a week to register for your classes online. Registration will close at the end of the day on Tuesday, February 17th.

  • Students, it is Valentine’s this Saturday! Spread a little love by sending Singing Valentines delivered by the Spectrum Choir. We will be selling them during lunch all week until Thursday. The songs will be delivered on Friday to your special someone. When you go to purchase these wonderful gifts, be sure to know your valentine’s name, the class period you want it delivered, their teacher for that class hour, and feel free to include a short personal message. Singing Valentines are $3 for one or $5 for two. Share the love and make someone’s day!

  • Congratulations to Tegan Erickson for qualifying for the state girls wrestling championships at the Excel center on February 27 and 28th. Teigen won the section championship this past weekend at Shakopee high school with a major decision in her championship match. Tegan is ranked number 10 at her weight class in the state of Minnesota. She is the first girl at Spectrum high school to qualify for the Minnesota State high school tournament. Congratulations!

  • Yearbook is looking for you to join our team!  Are you interested in design, photography, writing and/or interviews?  Then we have a spot for you.  Apply today on the Class Registration page of the school website or the QR codes in your buildings!

  • Broadcast Journalism applications are now open for the 2026-2027 school year!  If you are currently in grades 8-11 and interested in joining the award winning NOISE News crew, apply by February 20th.  We are seeking students who are dependable, can work with a team, and have a desire to learn new skills.  Find out more by scanning the QR code on Mrs. Chrest’s door in the high school or the fliers on the bulletin boards.

    The HS Spring Sports Meeting will take place on Monday, March 2nd at 6:30 PM in the Athletic Center. Students interested in Baseball, HS Girls’ Flag Football, Golf, Softball, Track & Field, or Trap should plan to attend with a parent/guardian. Registration opens February 17th.

SPECTRUM MIDDLE SCHOOL

  • Reminders — as the second trimester is ending, please remember that we currently do not allow gum on our campuses. We are hoping that with sustained improvement until the end of the month that we can reinstate it at the beginning of the third trimester. Also, no phones are allowed on campus during the day. This is especially true in the locker rooms. Please keep your phone in your locker or it will be confiscated.

  • 7 & 8 Grade students, mark your calendars!

SPECTRUM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 

  • National School Counseling Week - This week we recognize our wonderful school counselor, Ms. Hahn. Ms. Hahn does so many things for our students, and we are extremely fortunate to have her working at Spectrum. This week, don’t forget to thank her for all that she does.
