SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL

  • Students, we have been asking for your help with properly disposing of gum, but we have not seen the improvement needed. Gum continues to be found on floors, desks, and furniture throughout the building, creating extra work for our custodial staff who work hard to keep our school clean.
Because of this, gum is no longer permitted on campus until further notice. Effective immediately, students are not allowed to chew gum in any Spectrum building or facility, and this expectation will remain in place for the foreseeable future.
We ask for your cooperation moving forward and for your help in respecting our building and the people who take care of it.

  • REMINDER: This concerning colognes, perfumes, and other scented sprays in the hallways, bathrooms, and locker rooms. Our school handbook clearly states that these products are not permitted to be used inside the building. Please remember that many people —students and staff alike—have allergies or sensitivities to these products. We need your help keeping our school a healthy place for everyone.

If you are seen spraying any substance like this at school, the item will be confiscated.Thank you for being considerate and supporting a positive atmosphere for all.
