SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL 

  • Reminder: There is no school on Monday, Jan 19th in observance of MLK Day. This will be a Staff Development Day.

  • Interested in Girls High School Flag Football? Open to girls in grades 9–12.  Join us for evaluations on Saturday, January 17 from 12:00–1:30 PM in the HS gym.  Update…if you are planning to participate, come & do so. No need to register ahead.  Girls Flag Football is a spring sport.  Questions? Please contact Coach Stockwell.

  • REMINDER: This concerning colognes, perfumes, and other scented sprays in the hallways, bathrooms, and locker rooms. our school handbook clearly states that these products are not permitted to be used inside the building. Please remember that many people —students and staff alike—have allergies or sensitivities to these products. We need your help keeping our school a healthy place for everyone.

    If you are seen spraying any substance like this at school, the item will be confiscated.Thank you for being considerate and supporting a positive atmosphere for all.

SPECTRUM MIDDLE SCHOOL

  • Gum - please help keep our campuses clean, especially with gum. If you or someone you know chews gum, dispose of it properly. Gum is being found in inappropriate locations and may result in our becoming a gum-free campus. Please help keep this a student choice.

  • Announcements - There is an opportunity to help with the morning announcements for the third trimester. Thank you to those that have volunteered so far.  Please consider reading them, and let Mr. Heinecke know about your interest.

  • Middle School Students of the Month - Each month we have two Students of the Month for each grade.  These students are nominated by teachers for excelling in academic performance, character, behavior, effort, social relationships, and attendance. Please congratulate the following students for being recognized as January’s Students of the Month:  
    6th - Mariah L and Grayson K
    7th - Temperance O and Emmett H
    8th - Faith D and Coleton W
