Hey Spectrum High schoolers, Colleges are signing up to visit with you both during lunch and StingTimes. Anyone that is interested in learning more about these colleges is invited to the CCC or to sign up for the Stingtime Offerings. Please refer to the posters around the building for more information.

Spectrum is trying something new this year called the battle of the hives. The battle of the hives is a competition between each grade where students will get a ticket if they are showing school spirit and good behavior. Some examples to potentially get a ticket would be participating in dress up days, participating in class, and being kind. Teachers will hand these tickets out to the students with their name on it and students will place their tickets in a clear box by the office throughout the week. The winning grade will be rewarded during pepfest. One student from each grade will randomly be drawn to get a small prize. Good Luck, Sting!

NHS is hosting the Winter Fest dance on Saturday. Come out and enjoy the Northern Lights dance with your friends from 8pm - 11pm. You can buy your $5 tickets during lunch this week or from Mr. Hyde directly otherwise, you can show up on Saturday and pay $7 at the door. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Hyde or any NHS member.

Students, the song requests for the winter dance are stacking up and the 10th graders have a slight lead on the 9th grade with 37% of the current votes. Get your song request before it is too late! See your email for the form that was sent on Jan. 14 or scan the QR Code at the ticket table during lunches.

Students can dress like their favorite music album or artist. -
Friday: Grade colors, school spirit!

7th Grade Field Trip - 7th graders, a final reminder to be sure that your parents received an email on Monday about the upcoming February 12 field trip. By 2 pm this afternoon, they need to have communicated about your lunch option.
Construction Update - Please be aware that some of the sidewalk area has been closed off near the 7/8 campus Event Entrance. You now have to walk along the fence and through the south-side of the parking lot. Thank you for following this expectation, and stay safe.
