SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL

  • Students, today during the first 10 minutes of Advisory, there will be a locker clean out to prepare us for spring break. Please plan to use this time to remove any unnecessary items from your lockers. This includes removal of ALL perishable food and liquids from the lockers!

  • Attention all spring sports participants! Your equipment is to be stored under the stairwell by Mr. Hyde classroom (Room 110) or under the stairwell in the music wing.  Items are not to be stored up on top of your lockers. Thank you!!

  • Prom tickets are on sale now!  Cost is $60 per person, which includes social hour, dinner, and dance.  All tickets must be purchased through the parent portal.  Deadline to purchase tickets is April 5.  A SEPARATE sign up for grand march will be provided to ticket holders closer to the date.

  • Strength & Conditioning is BACK!!! This is a FREE opportunity for students in grades 7-12 to meet weekday mornings before school to improve their strength & conditioning.  This is for all sports or personal fitness.  Enhance your athletic season, prepare for your next sport, or improve your own conditioning.  Coach Stockwell will be present in the 6th grade gym weight room each morning (Tuesday-Friday) from 5:45 am-6:55 am.  Free with registration. Come to as many days as you can.  This program begins today!  More information is available in the school office or posted on bulletin boards.  Let’s get strong and fit this spring!

  • As the weather begins to warm up, this is a good time to review Spectrum’s dress code. Students, please pay special attention to the length of shirts and shorts, revealing clothing, and the location of holes in pants. This information was reviewed in advisory at the beginning of the school year.

If you need a refresher on dress code, please see page 38 in the Student/Family Handbook found on the school website under "Campus Life".  Additionally, blankets are not allowed in the classroom and should not be brought to school.

Administration and staff thank you for your part in following school dresscode.
