SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL

  • Do you want to “Pie a Teacher” in the face? Spectrum’s National Honor Society is having a Canned Food Drive that will run from January 17 - 26th. This food will be donated to CAER Food Shelf here in Elk River. Bring your canned food into your advisory and for every can of food you bring in you will get your name put in a drawing. For example, if you bring 25 cans of food in you will get 25 entries into a drawing. This drawing will be held on Friday the 26th and 5 lucky students will get to “Pie a Teacher” in the face during the Pep Fest. For more information, check out the posters around school or see Mr. Hyde.

  • Students from Quiz Bowl, Speech, NHS, SVC, Student Council, and Robotics… Yearbook will be taking your team photo today during RTI.  Bring your activity/team shirt, if you have one.

  • The NHS Snow Daze disco-themed dance will take place at the high school on Saturday, January 27th, from 8pm-10:30pm. Tickets are $5 in advance, $7 dollars at the door.

  • Staff & Students: as we continue to have snow, the white lines in the parking lot become more difficult to see.  Please do your best to locate the lines and be aware of spacing between vehicles to ensure all staff/student drivers can find parking.

  • Have you submitted your song requests for the winter dance? Check your email for a form that was sent out to students on January 11.

  • The high school will be celebrating Snow Daze from January 22nd-27th.

    • Monday will be winter PJ day

    • Tuesday will be Snowed In - all students will wear all blue and white.

    • Wednesday will be Workout Wednesday - show up in your favorite gym fit.

    • Thursday is Rhyme without reason, find a friend to dress up as a rhyme. For example you could be Wild West and a Princess.
