Spectrum Daily 10-2-23

SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL

  • Wreck-Less Driving Academy will be holding in person classes at Spectrum HS from October 30th to November 10th from 2:45-5:45 pm in Room 110.  If you are at least 14-1/2 years old and would like to join this class, please contact Wreck-Less Driving Academy to sign up today (class size is limited to 30 students and need 20 students told hold it).  There are fliers outside the front office or see Mrs. Bondy with questions.  Thanks!

  • Reminder: your school IDs are like your new or future driver license. They need to be on you at ALL times. These are used to check in and check out each day and also your free entry into home games.

  • Parking permits are needed on all vehicles throughout the year.  Please make sure you have yours so that you can continue parking in the lot.  Questions, see Skog or Bondy.

  • Reminder to students exiting the building out the main front door or the event entrance to go to parked cars, please use the crosswalk.  For those that are being picked up by their parents, stay on the sidewalks only, don’t dart into the parking lot to find your ride.

SPECTRUM MIDDLE SCHOOL

  • Sixth Grade Field Trip: Tomorrow is the field trip to Heritage Lab. Be sure you have different types of clothing to enjoy being outside most of the day.

  • Students of the Month - Each month we have two Students of the Month for each grade. These students are nominated by teachers for excelling in academic performance, character, behavior, effort, social relationships, and attendance; National Junior Honor Society students are not eligible to be a Student of the Month.  Please congratulate the following students for being recognized as the September Students of the Month:

    • 6th - Emik Zhyhar and Eloise Smith

    • 7th - Vincent Chase and Nataly Helps

    • 8th - Riley Porter and Madelynn Sawyer

  • At Spectrum Middle School, each day we say, Have a great day, knowing that you belong here, and with humble confidence and your best efforts, today will be a success. Go Sting!
