SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL 

  • Interested in Girls' Lacrosse?  Spectrum co-ops with Big Lake HS and their practice will begin on April 4th.  If you are interested in receiving more information, email athletics@spectrumhighschool.org.

  • Students in NHS, SVC and Link Crew, we need your photo!  Please come to the stairs by the CCC at the beginning of RTI on Wednesday, March 2 for a group photo.

  • Juniors & Seniors!  Check your email and vote for a prom theme.  Deadline to vote is end of school day on Thursday, March 3.

  • Congratulations to the boys basketball team who last night secured a share of the MCAA Conference championship with their 81-32 win over United Christian Academy.  This is the boys second conference title in the past three years.  Up next for the boys is Annandale on Friday before beginning the section playoffs next week.  Way to go, Spectrum boys basketball!

  • This Thursday our girls’ basketball team will host Royalton in the first round of the Section 6AA.  The game starts at 7:00 pm.  Since it is an official MSHSL playoff game admission is required for all students and staff.  Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students.  

    We hope that you will come out to cheer our girls’ basketball team.  They have worked hard all season for the opportunity to host this game and will be grateful for your support. Go Sting!!!

  • Registration for next school opens on March 1 in advisory. The window for registration in Campus Portal is from March 1 to the end of the school day on March 11. Registration information is found on the  Class Registration page and you can view the High School Registration Video that is being sent out for detailed instructions.

    If you are planning to register for C@SH classes next year, be sure to submit the C@SH Participation Agreement (printed copies available in College & Career Center), as it must be completed each year that a student takes C@SH classes. Also, C@SH classes have the opportunity to be offered online next year, so be sure to select the correct version of the class that you want to be in after reviewing the information and discussing with your family. Please see your school counselor with any questions.

  • Spectrum High School's Science & Engineering Club will be starting on March 8th. To join, have a parent go on to Infinite Campus and signup under the "School Store." If you have questions please contact Ms. Rudy. 

  • Notice: This thursday, March 3rd and Tuesday, March 8th will be Parent/Teacher Conferences: 
    *3:30 pm - 5:00 pm = Virtual (pre-sign up only)
    *5:00 pm - 6:30 pm = In-person conferences - Open house format @ SHS gym\

  • The SPRING SPORTS MEETING will be held at 6:30 pm on Monday, March 7 in the high school gym.  All prospective players for baseball, girls/boys golf, softball, and girls/boys track & field who are in grades 7-12 along with one parent must attend.  

    The meeting is required for players and parents and provides a great opportunity to meet the coaches and learn about the season to determine if the sport is right for you.   Softball and track & field will begin on March 14.  Baseball and golf will start on March 21.  You may be pre-excused during Spring break (March 14-18) with coach permission.

SPECTRUM MIDDLE SCHOOL 

  • Conference: Parent-Teacher Conferences are this Thursday - virtual from 3:30-5:00 and in-person 5:00-6:30. We hope to see you there.

  • National Junior Honor Society: Informational meetings for 2022-23 NJHS will be held TODAY for 6th graders in the Commons during Sting Time and for 7th and 8th graders tomorrow.

  • On Saturday, the Spectrum Middle School Quiz Bowl Team took second in the Edgewood Middle School Invitational, and Sam Fanucci had the highest individual score among all participants.
