SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL 

  • Congratulations to Hannah Boese and Hope Beck who each qualified for the state cross country meet that will be held next Saturday at St. Olaf College in Northfield.  Hannah placed 3rd and Hope came in 6th at the Section 5AA meet held yesterday in Becker.  The top two teams and six individuals move onto the state meet.  The Spectrum girls team placed 3rd and the boys were 5th.  Way to go cross country runners and best wishes to Hannah and Hope at the state meet.

  • Tomorrow on Saturday our Spectrum football team will host Foley in the second round of the playoffs.  The game time is 2:00 pm.  Since this is a MSHSL playoff game you must purchase tickets which will be available at the site for $8/adults and $5/students.  All middle school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • The PSAT 9 registration is now available and the registration form is due by Monday, November 1st. Please turn them into the College and Career Center. 

  • Spectrum's Financial Aid Night will be held Tuesday, November 2 beginning at 6:30 PM virtually via Google Meet. The Google Meet code for each session will be posted on the School Counseling Schoology page. These Google Meets will also be recorded and posted on the Schoology page if you are unable to attend.

  • Wreck-Less Driving Academy is holding classes online during the rest of 2021 and in person at Spectrum in 2022.  If interested, grab a sheet outside the front office.

  • Here is an important Winter Sports Meeting update:

    • The GIRLS BASKETBALL winter sports meeting will be held at the high school on Thursday, Nov. 4 at 7:15 pm.  

    • The BOYS BASKETBALL and WRESTLING winter sports meetings will remain on Monday, November 8 at 6:30 pm and will be held at the high school.

      All interested student-athletes and at least one parent must attend the winter sports meetings

  • October Event:  Tonight is the annual fall event from 3 - 5 pm on the 7/8th grade campus. Cost is $2.00. Listen for a second announcement at the start of Sting Time with some specific details.
