SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL

  • Driving students: As of now, if you have not purchased a parking permit yet, an additional charge will be added to your parking permit fee. Also if you are parking in an unauthorized spot, your car could be towed at your expense. This is most likely to happen behind the 6th grade building where other businesses control most of the parking spots. Be sure you know which spots are designated Spectrum spots.

  • A reminder that backpacks are not allowed in classrooms by order of the fire marshall and the Student/Family handbook. Only with certain permission are there any exceptions. Thank you for following this policy.

  • Quiz Bowl: Quiz Bowl practice will begin on Wednesday 10/13. Practices are from 2:50 until 4:15 every Wednesday and Thursday we have school in room 105 at the 7/8th grade building. See Ms. Lee if you have questions.

  • Students of the Month - Each month we have two Students of the Month for each grade. These students are nominated by teachers for excelling in academic performance, character, behavior, effort, social relationships, and attendance; National Junior Honor Society students are not eligible to be a Student of the Month. Please congratulate the following students for being recognized as the October Students of the Month:

6th - Lukas Savaloja and Sophia Schwientek

7th - Marshall Erickson and Annika Johnson

8th - Wyatt Tilly and Hailey Roach

  • Working in the hallways: Working in the hallway should be very limited, and when it is, this is a reminder to please be quietly productive. We are trusting you to not be disruptive to neighboring classrooms and other students. Thank you for helping us keep this option.

  • At Spectrum Middle School, each day we say, Have a great day, knowing that you belong here, and with humble confidence and your best efforts, today will be a success. Go Sting!
