SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL 

  • Jostens will be at Spectrum on Friday, September 17th, from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, to take pictures of all staff and students who did not have their picture taken at Open House in August. Pictures for students will begin at 8:00 a.m. and all middle school students will be escorted over to the high school building. Pictures for students in grades 9 through 12 will begin once the middle school students are finished.

    • Do NOT wear green 

    • Student Dress Code applies to pictures and therefore no hats, hoods, costumes, etc. will be allowed.

    • Student ID's are created from the picture taken by Jostens. If you are a senior and need an ID you will have to have your picture taken by Jostens

  • Please be mindful of the following:

Lastly, all picture re-takes will be done on Monday, October 18, 2021. The September 17th date is for all students and staff who have not yet had their picture taken.

  • Students, we are excited about homecoming week, which is right around the corner.  With that, please check your email for an important message regarding homecoming royalty court.  We want to recognize that not all students are comfortable with the potential of being part of our traditional homecoming royalty court.  If you fall into this category, please be sure to access and fill out the google form that was sent out this morning by noon on Friday, September 17th.  Thank you for your cooperation in this matter and thank you for making it a great homecoming week!

  • Homecoming week begins on Monday here at Spectrum. This year’s dress-up day themes for High School are: 

    • Monday: Pajama Day

    • Tuesday: Dress Like Your Grandparent

    • Wednesday: Opposite Day

    • Thursday: Decades Day

    • Friday: Class/Grade Colors

      • Freshman: Grey

      • Sophomores: White

      • Junior: Dark Green

      • Seniors: Black

  • Locker notes:  If you receive a note on your locker, it is important that you read it right away. It may need some action on your part and is usually time- sensitive.

  • Middle School Homecoming Week: The Homecoming game is Friday, September 24, with our annual Dress-up Days next week as well. Please join Middle School Student Council in showing your school spirit:

    • Monday – Pajama Day

    • Tuesday – Monochrome (same color) Day

    • Wednesday – Tropical Day 

    • Thursday – Hat/Head covering/Bandana Day

    • Friday – Sting Day – 8th Grade = Black; 7th Grade = White; 6th Grade = Green
