Last week, the Minnesota Department of Education updated it's requirements on the use of face masks. This applies to all students, staff, and other people in school buildings during the school day or when riding on school busses to and from school. The requirements do not apply to after school activities after 2:50 p.m.
This means that, at Spectrum, facemasks must continue to be worn until the end of the school year from 7:00 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. Thank you for your help in following the requirements.

Great news, Spectrum just received the news that our yearbook program has earned the National Yearbook Program of Excellence award!
The National Yearbook Program of Excellence is awarded to yearbook programs based on the extraordinary efforts that go into creating a yearbook and making it accessible to every student. Congratulations to Ms. Kemnitz and her yearbook staff!

Students, here are some important schedule details for today:

Today, we will run a modified B block day. There will be no Sting Time. All students will report to Advisory at 1:30 pm for Chromebook return, ice cream social, and yearbook signing. The school day will conclude at 2:40 pm.

Students On Campus: Spectrum device collection - 6-11th grade: Friday, May 28 Sting Advisory (end of the day).

Distance Learners: Spectrum device collection- 9-11th grade: Tuesday, June 1 between 6:30 am-8:30 am OR Wednesday, June 2, 2:30 pm-4:30 pm in the College and Career Center at the high school building.
SPECTRUM MIDDLE SCHOOL

Modified Schedules: Today is a modified-B day with the final 70 minutes to return school resources, clean lockers, and celebrate the end of the year with your Advisory. There is no Sting Time period.

Lockers: Please take all personal items home today or they will be discarded. This includes removing all items from the inside of your locker and any locker signs from the front of your locker. Thank you for helping us clean up for the summer.

Lost and Found: Finally, also please check out the lost and found for any items that may be yours. All remaining items will be donated after today.

Distance Learners: Spectrum device collection-6-8th grade: Tuesday, June 1 between 6:30 am-8:30 am OR Wednesday, June 2 between 2:30 pm-4:30 pm to the Main Office of the middle school 7-8 building. (Note: no return/drop-off at the 6th-grade building)
