SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL

  • You may have heard that the Governor is lifting the face mask requirement later today. We're all excited for this long-awaited decision. Unfortunately, since the Center for Disease Control has not yet updated their guidance for schools, the Minnesota Department of Education and the Governor are still requiring that face masks be worn by all students and staff while inside school buildings and on school buses through the end of the school year.

Spectrum understands this may be disappointing for some and we want to thank you in advance for working together to ensure we're meeting these requirements. We can do this - only 8 more days of school on-campus this year!

  • Summer Camp and Practice Registration is open!  Get signed up this week to get your space reserved!

  • Students, there are still a number of you that need to talk about the yellow note that was on your vehicle the other day due to lack of a parking permit.  Please do so today.

SPECTRUM MIDDLE SCHOOL

  • 6th Grade Track & Field Meet: Yesterday was the first of two 6th grade track and field opportunities. For those that participated, we hope you had fun. If you missed it -- or want to participate again will be on Tuesday, May 25. Mark your calendar.   We hope you plan to attend!

  • Masks: Students and staff, you may have heard that Governor Walz plans to lift the mask mandate across the state.  However, this action does not include school buildings or school buses at this time.  Therefore, Minnesota’s Safe Learning Plan, including the existing face covering guidance for schools, remains in effect through the end of the 2020-2021 school year.  This means that masks must continue to be worn by everyone inside school buildings or on a school bus.  Thank you for your support in this matter!

  • At Spectrum Middle School, each day we say, Have a great day, knowing that you belong here, and with humble confidence and your best efforts, today will be a success. Go Sting!
