SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL

  • Thank you to everyone who applied to be a Link Leader for next school year. It was a very tough choice and we had so many great applications! If you were chosen to be a Link Leader, please remember that on Monday, May 10th you have a mandatory Link training across the street in the middle school gym from 8-10am.

  • This week, Spectrum would like to take time to recognize and thank our incredible team of educators!  Teachers provide so much to our students—inspiration, motivation and, ultimately, their futures.  Teachers change the lives of millions of children every day, and their work and impact extends far beyond the boundaries of the classroom.  At Spectrum we know that our teachers are among the best in the nation.  Please join us this week in thanking them for their dedication, countless hours of preparation, and their passion for assisting others in reaching their goals and dreams.  Thank you teachers!

  • Summer Camp Registration is now open!!  This summer there will camps and practices for most of the sports offered at Spectrum.  Check out the email you received this week and get registered today.  Information is also available outside the front office.  See Mrs. Bondy in the front office with any questions.

You can buy your book at yearbooks.jostens.com for only $60. You don’t want to miss out on this year's book, so buy now before it’s too late!

SPECTRUM MIDDLE SCHOOL

  • Teacher Appreciation Week: It is Teacher Appreciation Week, and we want to thank all of our wonderful teachers! Please reach out -- maybe even write a little note! -- and tell both current and former teachers that you appreciate them and all they do for students and you.

  • Students of the Month: If you have not already, please congratulate the following students for being recognized as the May Students of the Month:

    • 6th - Finley Swanson & Lola Smith and Sam Fanucci & Tyler Wakerhauser

    • 7th - Alex Guntzel and Kendra Meyer

    • 8th - Ethan Barton and Dillon Mehrer

  • STING “Bingo” Hunt: 6th and 7th graders who are planning to wear a hat tomorrow from Tuesday’s Hunt, please be sure you have a sticker from your advisor.

  • Staying hydrated: Please remember to bring a clear water bottle from home to refill during the school day.  With the temperature getting warmer and more activity outside we want you to stay hydrated.

  • Serve with honor, live with purpose. Go ARMY! There is more than one way you can make a difference. Army Civilian, Army Officer, Active Duty, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard. Find one that’s right for you when you meet with an Army Representative who will be in the cafeteria on Tuesday, May 11 During the Lunch Period.

  • At Spectrum Middle School, each day we say, Have a great day, knowing that you belong here, and with humble confidence and your best efforts, today will be a success. Go Sting!
