Students who are interested in taking College at Spectrum High (C@SH) classes in the 2021-22 school year are invited to virtually attend the C@SH Information Night on Monday, February 9 at 6:00 PM via Zoom. At 7:00 PM, the Math teachers will present information about Math curriculum pathways at Spectrum using the same Zoom link.
Attending the C@SH Information Meeting is the first required step to participating in the C@SH program. If you have already participated in C@SH classes, you do not need to attend. Additional steps to participation will be described at the informational meeting.

Students, just a reminder that you are not expected to attend, or check into, Academic Study when you are off campus for distance learning. This general attendance expectation is a continuation of what we implemented during 2nd quarter.

Paraprofessional Week: This week is Paraprofessional Week, a time to show appreciation for all our paraprofessionals. All years but especially this year (and last spring) Spectrum Middle School could not operate at such a high level without their support. Please say thank you to them!
-
Keeping healthy: As we return to a Hybrid mode, please remember the requirement to properly wear your face cover, to socially-distance, and to wash your hands throughout the day, especially before eating lunch. We want to stay open and the only way to do that is for all of us to stay healthy.
-
Second Semester: With the beginning of a new semester it is time for a fresh start. It is time to reflect on what went well and what needs some refinement. You have a lot of supportive resources to help your success. Please self-advocate and have a great second half of your year!
-
Winter Fest: Next week is Winterfest, and Student Council would love for you to join them in dressing up:
-
Tuesday - Crazy COVID Mask Day
-
Wednesday - Monochrome Day: wear only one color
-
Thursday - Crazy COVID Mask Day (for the Th/F cluster)
-
Friday - Sting Spirit: wear green, black, and white

Athletics: A reminder that as a student-athlete it is your responsibility to watch the clock to be dismissed. Teachers will not remind you. If you are being dismissed early please be quiet in the hallways and exit through the front doors.

At Spectrum Middle School, each day we say, Have a great day, knowing that you belong here, and with humble confidence and your best efforts, today will be a success. Go Sting!
