SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL

  • Students, as we're making our Sting Time transition this week which includes shifting our Tuesday and Friday advisory sessions to RTI sessions, please take note that you are still required to check in with your advisor each day at the beginning of class for attendance purposes.  As we've always done, you'll receive information on where you're headed for RTI each day in advisory before being allowed to transition.  Thank you!

SPECTRUM MIDDLE SCHOOL

  • Students of the Month - Each month we have two Students of the Month for each grade. These students are nominated by teachers for excelling in academic performance, character, behavior, effort, social relationships, and attendance; National Junior Honor Society students are not eligible for SOTM.  Please congratulate the following students for being recognized as the October Students of the Month:

    • 6th - Julian Peterson (Moe) & Liana Thompson (Mattson)

    • 7th - Gavin Gifford (Honn) & Grace Biorn (Gangl)

    • 8th - Henry Adams (Guimont) & Alexia Melander (Faatz)

*Please come to the office during Sting Time to receive a treat and your certificate if you are a Tuesday/Wednesday or remember to come on Thursday if you are a Thursday/Friday.

  • Calendar: It is a normal couple of weeks now to end the first term/quarter. Mid-semester is at the end of the day on Friday, October 30.

  • Sting Time RTI: Seventh and Eighth grade will begin Response to Intervention TODAY. Everyone should have practices to complete or notes to study or Points of Confusion to receive support or a book to quietly read during Sting Time. Please check in with your Advisor as some of you have been selected to receive some help. Proper social distancing is expected, so be patient if there are capacity issues while we figure out how to best operate.

  • Student Advisory Crew (SAC): HERE are your student advisors for this year. Please use your voice to inform them on ways to improve Spectrum Middle School or to receive academic support.

  • At Spectrum Middle School, each day we say, Have a great day, knowing that you belong here, and with humble confidence and your best efforts, today will be a success. Go Sting!
