SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL

  • Attention all High School Students, your school portraits have arrived and you may pick them up in the CCC anytime during the day.

  • Wreck-Less Driving Academy will be doing online classes.  They are being held September 28-October 9 from 6-9 pm and then also December 7-18 from 4-7 pm.  If you are 14-1/2 years old and would like to join this class, please contact Wreck-Less Driving Academy to sign up today (class is limited to 30 students). http:wreck-lessdriving.com

  • Reminder: On Mondays Spectrum has Advisory check-ins at 10:00 am. Please be sure you have the proper link and are ready to log in prior to the start time. Bring any questions or concerns to your Advisor.

  • Please note that students will NOT be allowed to charge their chromebooks in the IT tech office during the school day this year. Remember to charge your chromebooks at home so that they are ready for use each day during your class schedule.

  • Spectrum community,

As all of the staff and students continue to adapt to the new guidelines of the hybrid model, the decision has been made by both Spectrum High School and Spectrum Middle School to postpone the "Fall Spirit Week" to an undetermined date in the future. Spectrum staff and the Spectrum student council look forward to celebrating Spectrum's school spirit with you all in the upcoming months. Go Sting!

SPECTRUM MIDDLE SCHOOL

  • AVID Boot Camp: We are an AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) school, so we train and utilize WICOR (writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, and reading) strategies. This is “Boot Camp,” and it starts on Wednesday this week and runs for about nine weeks. See your Advisor with any questions or Mr. Heinecke with any concerns.

  • Student-athlete: All students are expected to be making adequate progress in all classes. This is a requirement for student-athletes. If you are a student-athlete and not making progress in all of your courses, you will receive an eligibility warning. Please create an Action Plan so the warning does not turn into a suspension.

  • Reminder: On Mondays Spectrum has Advisory check-ins at 10:00 am. Please be sure you have the proper link and are ready to log in prior to the start time. Bring any questions or concerns to your Advisor.

  • Breaks: Following the Student Mask Requirements, we will do our best to provide you with some breaks throughout the day. Be respectful and responsible with this, and all will work out just fine.

  • At Spectrum Middle School, each day we say, Have a great day, knowing that you belong here, and with humble confidence and your best efforts, today will be a success. Go Sting! Since the announcements are only being written for now, we welcome you to take a moment to say or reflect on the Pledge of Allegiance as well as our middle-school mindset. Hope it is a great week, Sting!
