SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL
-
How are athletics affected by distance learning?
-
All participation in MSHSL spring activities at all member schools is suspended.
-
Participation includes, but is not limited to, competitions, training, practices, scrimmages, and contests.
-
No decision regarding the cancellation of spring activities has been made at this time. Also, there is no need to request a spring sports refund at this time. The previous deadline to request refunds by April 10 has been extended indefinitely. Once we have a better understanding about the spring sports season; we will give each participant one week to make a decision about whether to continue in spring sports or request a refund.
- Question: Will there be any change to the way C@SH courses are being graded?
Answer: No. At this point, courses will continue to be grading on the standard grading scale as noted in the Spectrum handbook and the individual course syllabi. Of course, the situation is evolving as Spectrum continues working with our partner colleges to adapt, as needed. We will certainly keep students updated if the grading practices were to change at any point during the remainder of this school year.
- Thank you for working with us to make sure distance learning is successful! We hope your first day went well.
