SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL 

  • NOISE News is seeking applicants for next year’s Broadcast Journalism program. If you have an interest in creating video, writing, and speaking- we are looking for you!  No experience needed as we will train you. All current 8th graders through juniors are encouraged to apply. You may pick up an application on Mrs. Chrest’s door (Room 103) or in the office at the middle school.

  • Ronald McDonald’s House Charities (RMHC) has 300 chapters in 62 countries and regions around the world. Ronald McDonald House programs can be found in 89% of the top children’s hospitals worldwide.  Please bring pop tabs in for your advisory box so we can make our biggest contribution yet.

  • Spectrum High School Theatre's performance of Seussical the Musical is next week!  Performances will be held on Friday, March 13 at 7 pm; Saturday, March 14 at 2 pm and 7 pm; and Sunday, March 15 at 2 pm.

  • Would you like to help welcome the class of 2024 to Spectrum HS? Link Crew is recruiting leaders for the 20-21 school year.  Prospective leaders will be juniors and seniors next year.  Applications are available in the College & Career Center and Mr. Ott's or Ms. Hamernick's classrooms.

  • Spring Sports season will be here before we know it.  If you are in one of those sports and need to store your gear, please place them under the stairwell by Mr. Hyde's class (Room 110) and not the stairwell by the front office/college & career area.  Thank you!

  • Our beloved therapy dog Mabel will be taking the week of 3/9 - 3/13 off. Her family will be adding a new therapy puppy to their family!

  • Early Release Reminder:  Monday is an early release; please plan accordingly.

  • Reminder: There will be parent/teacher conferences from 4 PM to 7 PM at Spectrum on Monday, March 9. Parents are encouraged to review progress for quarter and semester-long classes with their student(s) prior to attending conferences.

  • Please be sure to check the lost and found to claim any items that are yours.  Any unclaimed items by the end of conferences will be donated this Friday.

  • Registration for 20-21 school year classes is due March 17.  Make sure you complete the Registration Planning Worksheet AND input your courses requests in Campus Portal.  Applications are required for Yearbook, Broadcast Journalism, AP Biology, and American Literature Honors.  Links to the applications are located on the Spectrum Class Registration page.
