Spectrum Daily 3-3-2020

SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL

  • NOISE News is seeking applicants for next year’s Broadcast Journalism program.  If you have an interest in creating video, writing, and speaking- we are looking for you!  No experience needed as we will train you.  All current 8th graders through juniors are encouraged to apply.  You may pick up an application on Mrs. Chrest’s door (Room 103) or in the office at the middle school.

  • Can you imagine spending the entire day worrying at the bedside of a sibling or child and then having to think about dinner at the end of the day? Thanks to the Ronald McDonald House, this is one less thing that families have to worry about as the Ronald McDonald House provides dinner for families each and every night. Help them continue this tradition by dropping your pop tabs in your advisory box.

  • Would you like to help welcome the class of 2024 to Spectrum HS? Link Crew is recruiting leaders for the 20-21 school year.  Prospective leaders will be juniors and seniors next year.  Applications are available in the College & Career Center and Mr. Ott's or Ms. Hamernick's classrooms.

  • Spring Sports season will be here before we know it.  If you are in one of those sports and need to store your gear, please place them under the stairwell by Mr. Hyde's class (Room 110) and not the stairwell by the front office/college & career area.  Thank you!

  • Reminder: Thursday, March 5 and Monday, March 9 are parent/teacher conferences from 4 PM to 7 PM at Spectrum. Parents are encouraged to review progress for quarter and semester-long classes with their student(s) prior to attending conferences.

  • Please be sure to check the lost and found to claim any items that are yours.  Any unclaimed items by the end of conferences will be donated this Friday.
