  • There will be a Girls’ Spring Lacrosse Information Meeting for 7-12 Grade Spectrum Girls and their parents on Monday March 2, 2020 at 7:00 PM in the Big Lake HS lecture hall.

  • There will be a Clay Target Information Meeting for 7-12 Grade Spectrum Girls & Boys and their parents on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 5:15 pm at PACT.

  • Reminder that the SPRING SPORTS MEETING is tonight at 6:30 pm in the high school gymnasium. • Our local MN Ronald McDonald House has touched the lives of so many families by providing housing, food, and comfort while their children were in the hospital. Every year, RMHC helps nearly 9 million families stay together. By collecting pop tabs for your advisory class, you are also making an impact in their lives while earning donuts for your class. The drive starts today!

  • Mark your calendars for Spectrum High School Theatre's performance of Seussical the Musical in two weeks!  Performances will be held on Friday, March 13 at 7 pm; Saturday, March 14 at 2 pm and 7 pm; and Sunday, March 15 at 2 pm.  The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many "thinks." Horton not only must protect the Whos, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant.

  • Reminder: Thursday, March 5 and Monday, March 9 are parent/teacher conferences from 4 PM to 7 PM at Spectrum. Parents are encouraged to review progress for quarter and semester-long classes with their student(s) prior to attending conferences.

  • Would you like to help welcome the class of 2024 to Spectrum HS? Link Crew is recruiting leaders for the 20-21 school year.  Prospective leaders will be juniors and seniors next year.  Applications are available in the College & Career Center and Mr. Ott's or Ms. Hamernick's classrooms.
