SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL

  • Spring Sports season will be here before we know it.  If you are in one of those sports and need to store your gear, please place them under the stairwell by Mr. Hyde's class (Room 110) and not the stairwell by the front office/college & career area.  Thank you!

  • There will be a Girls’ Spring Lacrosse Information Meeting for 7-12 Grade Spectrum Girls and their parents on Monday March 2, 2020 at 7:00 PM in the Big Lake HS lecture hall.

  • There will be a Clay Target Information Meeting for 7-12 Grade Spectrum Girls & Boys and their parents on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 5:15 pm at PACT.

  • Student-athletes in grades 7-12 interested to sign up for baseball, golf (girls and boys), softball, and track & field (girls & boys) must attend the SPRING SPORTS MEETING at 6:30 pm on Monday, March 2 in the high school gymnasium.  At least one parent must also attend.  The online registration for Spring sports is now open.  We encourage everyone to register early, however you must still attend the Spring Sports Meeting.  Here is the registration link:   https://www.spectrumhighschool.portal.rschooltoday.com/

  • Mark your calendars for Spectrum High School Theatre's performance of Seussical the Musical in two weeks!  Performances will be held on Friday, March 13 at 7 pm; Saturday, March 14 at 2 pm and 7 pm; and Sunday, March 15 at 2 pm.  The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many "thinks." Horton not only must protect the Whos, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant.
