SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL

  • There will be a prom committee meeting on Friday, February 7, during STING time in Ms. Johnson's room, for any juniors and seniors interested.  We need people who have good design ideas, artistic talents, organizing skills, or are just the willing to pitch in and get things done.  All are welcome, even if you didn't make the first meeting. That's Prom Committee, Friday, during STING time.

  • Hockey Information Meeting - 6 PM - Feb. 13 - Spectrum High School. For all boys in grades 6-12 and their parents who are interested to discuss future opportunities to start a hockey program at Spectrum.  Your attendance is your vote to help us explore the state of hockey at Spectrum.  We will meet at the high school on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 6 pm.  Spread the word and bring others who may be interested!

  • Interested in learning about qualifying for C@SH classes for the 20-21 school year? Mark your calendar for Monday, February 10 @ 6:00 PM.  This informational presentation is mandatory for students who will register for their first C@SH class for next school year.  At 7:00 PM, the Math Department will give a presentation about Math curriculum pathways.

  • It is National School Counseling Week. Maybe you don’t see them every day, but school counselors are there for you when you need them. Whether you go to them for advice about a personal problem, are preparing for college, figuring out your schedule, or trying to handle the pressure of school and extracurricular activities, our school counselors play a critical --- and often unsung --- role in our school. A big thanks goes out to our HS counselors, Ms. Matheson and Mr. Mayes, for all of the work they do.

  • CONGRATULATIONS to Sidney Brenteson who qualified for the state meet in alpine skiing by placing in the top 17 at the section meet yesterday.  The state meet will be held next Wednesday at Giants Ridge near Virginia, MN.  Sophie Brenteson also had a great day finishing 22nd overall.  Way to go Sidney and best wishes at STATE!!!
