SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL 

  • Spectrum would like to express our gratitude and recognition to our hard-working paraprofessionals this week! We have amazing paraprofessionals at Spectrum that work tirelessly to support all of our students to reach their aspirations. Thank you paras!

  • Hockey Information Meeting - 6 PM - Feb. 13 - Spectrum High School. For all boys in grades 6-12 and their parents who are interested to discuss future opportunities to start a hockey program at Spectrum.  Your attendance is your vote to help us explore the state of hockey at Spectrum.  We will meet at the high school on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 6 pm.  Spread the word and bring others who may be interested!

  • Interested in learning about qualifying for C@SH classes for the 20-21 school year? Mark your calendar for Monday, February 10 @ 6:00 PM.  This informational presentation is mandatory for students who will register for their first C@SH class for next school year.  At 7:00 PM, the Math Department will give a presentation about Math curriculum pathways.

  • Thank you to ALL who donated blood last Friday! Our recent blood drive helped to save and sustain 45 lives in our community. A total of 15 units were collected bringing the drive in at 83%. These donations are already helping patients in need. Thank you for making a life-saving difference! Please watch for this year's final blood drive coming in April.

  • Have you turned in your song requests for the dance yet? Check your email for the link to a song request form. Submit your song requests ASAP for the best chance of hearing your song played at this year’s winter dance!

  • Congratulations to our Big Buck Contest Winner, Shelby Bray.  Shelby bagged a monster 10 point buck during the rifle deer season.  Shelby will be awarded a cash prize for her great hunting skills!

  • We hope everyone is enjoying our Winter Spirit Week! What’s been the best outfit you’ve seen so far?

  • Congratulations to Wrestler Adden Schmidt!  This past weekend, Adden participated in the MN 9th Grade league Regional Qualifier at Zimmerman HS. Adden took 2nd place in the 100 lbs class which qualifies him to wrestle at the 9th Grade League State Tournament this coming weekend at Champlin Park HS. Participating with Adden, but not qualifying, were wrestling teammates Micale Melotik, Ethan Schmidt and Jesse Farrell. In other news, this past weekend Spectrum hosted a youth wrestling tournament with about 200 area wrestlers competing. Here is a list of wrestlers placing for Spectrum :
