SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL 

  • Are you ready to enjoy the festivities of the holiday season? On Friday, December 13, beginning at 7:00 p.m., Spectrum's choirs, under the direction of Mrs. Bird, will perform in the gym of the high school building. After the concert and while enjoying your cookies, please take a look at the Visual Arts display in the College and Career Center. The High School Ceramics, Graphic Design, and Painting classes will have work on display.

  • Reminder: Monday, December 16 is an Early Release. Please plan accordingly.

  • Save the date! Spectrum's Prom is scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd.  A Junior & Senior Prom Committee is needed to help make important decisions and decorate. 
    An informational meeting will be held in Room 105 on Wednesday, December 11th @ 3:15 pm.  Please help make this the best prom yet!

  • Mark your calendar and sign up because Wreck-Less Driving Academy will be doing a driver education class with us again.  They will be meeting February 24th-March 6th from 3:30-6:30 pm.  If you are at least 14-1/2 years old and would like to join this class, please contact Wreck-Less Driving Academy @ wrecklessdriving.com and sign up today.  Class is limited to 30 students.  Flyers are located outside the office if you need one to take home to show your parents.  

  • Looking for a great gift for your friends, teachers, or that special someone? Students from the Europe Trip will be selling Christmas Candy Grams during lunches this week.  Each Candy Gram will cost $1 and will be delivered to advisories on Dec. 20.

  • Join Student Council in warming up to Winter Break by participating in next week's Dress-up Days (all school-appropriate):  

    • M - Wear your favorite Stocking Cap / Hat

    • T - Dress like a Candy Cane

    • W - Dress in the gear of your favorite Vacation Location

    • TH - Promote your favorite winter Sport Team, and

    • F - Ugly Sweater or Shirt (*contest* - recognition will be at the end of the day)
