SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL

  • We had our Winter Sports Meeting last week and so make sure you get registered and items turned in for Boys' Basketball, Girls' Basketball or Wrestling so you can start practice on time.  All items due by November 8th.  See Mr. Peterson or Mrs. Bondy with questions.

  • We are happy to announce that Coach Foster will be the new strength trainer and have the weight room open between 6:30 - 7:30 am every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.  There is no charge and you can come to as many days as you are available.  Coach Foster will work with you to help increase your strength, regardless of your sport.

  • Do you deer hunt?  If so, bring Mr. Skog a dollar to be entered into the BIG buck contest! If you shoot a buck, bring a picture of you & your buck to Mr. Skog.  Contest ends December 31st and winner gets the whole jackpot.

  • Baseball Captain Practice will start November 12th @ the 6th grade building from 7-8:30 pm.

  • Not in a sport this winter?  Want to get fit?  Join the Spectrum Winter Running Club.  The Winter Running Club is open to students in grades 6-12.  This is a student led and adult supervised activity that includes running and core training. Starting on Monday, November 11, the club will meet in the high school commons each Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after school from 3:20 – 5:00 pm.  You need to bring a liability release form to your first day.  The forms are available in the school office.  No running experience is necessary.  Look for more information on the posters around school or pick up information packets in the school office.
