SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL 

  • Are you interested in Dance Team?  Your winter sports meeting will be on Monday, October 21st @ 6:30 pm in the HS Music Room.  So plan to come out with a parent and check out all the details.

    Are you interested in Boys' or Girls' Basketball or Wrestling?  Your winter sports meeting will be on Tuesday, October 29th @ 6:30 pm at the SHS building.  So plan to come out with a parent and check out all the details.

    Registration is now open so tell your parents and sign up today!

  • Calling all wrestlers! Captains’ practices are available to all returning and considering wrestlers. If you want to warm up on form before the season starts, or are interested in joining this year, practices will be held in the 6th grade gym from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Sundays. If you have any questions, get into contact with one of the captains. We hope to see you on the mat!

  • Ninth grade students: remember to submit your Respect Retreat permission slip to your Sting Advisory teacher. The field trip fee and permissions slip must be submitted by Monday, October 21 or the student will not be able to attend.

  • Ninth grade students will attend the all-day Respect Retreat on Thursday, October 24.  Ninth graders: remember to bring a bag lunch on Thursday.

  • The Elk River VFW is sponsoring the annual Voice of Democracy Essay contest.  National and local cash prizes are available.  This year’s theme is "What makes America great?"  See a Social Studies teacher for information and an entry form.  All submissions are due Oct. 31

  • 10th, 11th, & 12th grade students and parents are invited to a Financial Aid Night! It will be an evening of information from the FAFSA to transfer credit knowledge. Check your email or social media for more details. 

  • Notice: Spectrum’s Annual Meeting will happen on Thursday, October 24, 2019. Spectrum looks forward to the Annual Meeting every year where it has an opportunity to share reports on the past year’s academics, finances, and facilities, and to articulate the School’s future hopes and dreams.  In addition, the Volunteer of the Year award is presented to an outstanding parent volunteer.  It is an opportunity for Spectrum to publicly thank the recipient and to acknowledge its gratitude to all our families for their continued support through volunteerism.   

    This year’s Annual Meeting will take place in the College & Career Center at the high school building and will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2019.  Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you there!
