SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL 

  • 11th Graders this is LAST CHANCE! The National College Fair is Thursday, October 3 from 9 - noon. Cost is $5.00. Permission forms and payment and are due Today, Thursday, September 26. Don’t miss this opportunity to discover the path to your future.  

  • Friday is spirit day so make sure you show your sting pride: Freshman wear Grey, Sophomores wear White,  Juniors wear Spectrum Green, and Seniors wear Black

  • Spectrum’s dress code will still apply to all dress-up day outfits. Hats will be allowed only if they are part of a person's dress-up outfit.

  • Friday is our Homecoming Football game and it will be a School Spirit theme.  So wear your grade colors and come to the game which will be at 4 pm.  GO STING!

  • There will be an activity bus taking students from the school to the athletic field for the Homecoming game this Friday. The bus will leave Spectrum at about 3:20 PM and will make multiple trips to the athletic field, if necessary. 

  • The activity bus will NOT be returning students to the high school after the game. Be sure to arrange your own transportation to get home after the game about 6:30 PM. 

  • A reminder for students taking the PSAT exam in October.  Non-AVID students will complete preadministration Monday, Sept. 30 starting at 2:00 PM in the high school commons area.  Students in 10th and 11th grade AVID classes will complete it during AVID class time.

  • Anyone interested in playing Girls’ Basketball this season, please contact Coach Hund at the High School.  Captains’ practices are currently ongoing and Breakdown warm up teams are being put together.  

  • The dance will be held on Friday September 27th 9pm-11pm, and its semi formal.  As we made our way coast to coast we will be ending in a Starry Night in New York. Tickets are $7 at the door. Remember, you can submit your song requests for the dance via the form that was sent to your Sting e-mail.

  • Homecoming is here, which means our Singleton day will be Friday for the Pep Fest. It also means that it is time for our annual dress-up days. We would love for everyone to join in the celebration in anticipation of Friday’s game:
