Regularly Scheduled Board Meeting date has been changed from the third Thursday in January to Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 5:30 p.m.
School Board Election: Spectrum High School's School Board has now begun its formal process of seeking interested parties to become candiddates in this year's School Board election. The election will take place on April 19, 2012. All candidate profiles need to be completed and submitted either to the Nominating Committee via email at shsnominatingcommittee@gmail.com, or delivering them to Dawn Sorenson in Spectrum's main office. January 30--Financial Aid Night at Spectrum. Attention Junior and Senior students and parents! Spectrum High School will be hosting a Financial Aid night on Monday, January 30th from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. in room 101. Students, you are encouraged to attend with your parents. A Financial Aid Advisor from the Minnesota School of Business will be presenting information on financial aid and the FAFSA. Mrs. Lehmkuhl, the school counselor, will have scholarship materials available and will also be present to help answer questions. Special Board Meeting: A special meeting of the Spectrum High School Board of Directors will take place on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Spectrum High School.

Do you have holiday lights that aren't working? The Service Learning group DiTTO is collecting broken holiday lights to be recycled by a foundation that uses the proceeds to help individuals with disabilities find employment. Green collecting bins will be under the stairs beginning the week after Thanksgiving. Tell your family and neighbors, and thanks for helping keep our planet green!
