Hello, a final blog and send off to the 2020-21 school year:
There have been many learning opportunities and challenges this year, and I want to personally thank you for collaborating with us in helping Spectrum Middle School be a place where your child is successful. Your flexibility, patience, kindness, and support have definitely helped. While I request that these behaviors continue, I honestly hope to not need maybe quite as much next year, given that it will be a new school year wtih new circumstances.
Please encourage your child to be as “unplugged” as possible these summer months: to get outside as much as possible; to let her/his mind wander and drift; to read as many books as possible; and to run, swim, and bike. Help them make memories...so they are ready to take on a new year on August 30. We will be here the week before for Open House with doors open and a place to belong.
Thank you again for all that you do. We would not have the level of success without our great parents!
