On September 3 the Spectrum boys soccer team was host to the St. Agnes Aggies in a thrilling game that resulted in a 4-3 Sting victory. Spectrum opened up with two goals before giving up one. The Sting increased their lead to 3-1, however the Aggies mounted a strong comeback to cut the score to 3-2. Nolan Egge notched his second goal of the game to cement the 4-3 win for the Sting.
The victory brings the Sting record to 1-2 on the young season. The boys hope to carry the momentum of the victory into their games on Sept. 5 at Concordia Academy and Sept. 9 at Princeton.
The Spectrum JV team lost to St. Agnes 14-4. Ethan Kotrba scored all four goals for the Sting.
