Football Season Review

The Spectrum/PACT Spartans finished their inaugural football season with 4 wins and 4 losses, a great achievement for a first year program. Some highlights included the school's first victory in their first contest, a 62-0 win over Red Lake. Other victories included a 48-14 victory at Elmore Academy and victories at Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity and Pine City, against their JV squads. Our most thrilling game was played at Minneapolis Edison on a rainy evening late in the season. The lead changed hands several times, with Edison pulling out a 30-26 victory. Leading rushers were Bruce Smith, Allen Morgan, Nick Schultz, and Brandon Anderson. Leading passer was Caleb Sepulveda, and leading receivers were Morgan and Smith. Leading defensive player in both tackles and sacks was Dan Graffunder. Many of these players were seniors and will be missed next season. Our team has much to be proud of, we worked hard and had a great year!
